HIST 310 The Body in Global Histories of Medicine

Author: aa100

I am a sophomore at Will Rice College, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Biochemistry and Cell Biology on the Pre-Medicine track. I am investigating the interaction between the amyloid beta peptide involved in Alzheimer’s disease and certain heavy metal complexes with the Department of Chemistry at Rice University. In the future, I hope to go into neurology or neurosurgery. In addition to RNS, I am actively involved in Alzheimer’s Buddies, Pancakes for Parkinson’s, and Camp Kesem.
